4" Mounting Strips (60)

Mounting strips are used to securely hold photos and artwork to the backing board under window mats without using any adhesive on the artwork. Lineco See-thru Mounting Strips are made from conservation quality materials. Clear Polyester mylar is bonded to a 2 ply mat with a self-adhesive back.  Because the strips can be placed on the top, bottom and sides of the artwork they can help support the artwork and help keep it flat. No adhesive touches the photo or artwork. The strips can also be removed without damaging the artwork. The strips can be trimmed to hide the strip with mat borders as small as an 1/8”.

Uses: The strips can be used alone or in conjunction with mounting corners to provide additional support on larger photographs and art. We highly recommend the use of these mounting corners for mounting photographs and also supporting large works of art as there is no adhesive used directly on the photo and it can be easily removed.
